I now practice as a Staff Attorney at the Tenant Law Center at Catholic Community Services of Western Washington. I moved to Seattle from Charleston, South Carolina in 2013, where I practiced plaintiff's employment law until January 2018 when I joined TLC.
After receiving my law degree from the University of South Carolina in 2003, I practiced employment and criminal law as an associate attorney for Terry Ann Rickson and Nancy Chiles, and joined Terry as a partner in 2008. I set up my own firm in 2010, and am continuing my practice here in Washington, representing clients throughout the state.
I have served as a volunteer attorney for the Unemployment Law Project, Housing Justice Project, KCBA Neighborhood Legal Clinic and the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, and serve on the King County Bar Pro Bono Services Committee.
Prior to entering law school, I was a scientific researcher studying genetics and brain development. Since becoming a lawyer, I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with people to solve their legal problems.
